The month is about to end, and I still don’t know anything about the 40k league. Today I’ll go to the store and ask about it, just in case I’ve missed an email. Not that I’m complaining, because the Emperor knows I need all the extra time I can get, after all.

As it was bound to happen, everything that could go wrong went wrong. I had a little accident and cut my finger. Nothing major, but it could have been worse.

Dark Angels Test Model
So here’s my first painted Dark Angel. After years without painting anything, I was pretty happy with how it turned out. Then I took a photo… and seeing the mini so big makes it look like I painted it with my mouth. Oh, well.

Dark Angels Assemble!
Here are my Dark Angels out of the box, with cleaning done to the Tactical Squad. As they’re snap-fit and really easy to build, you’ve got them “ready” in no time. There’s still work to be done on them, but having the rest of the models built while you’re working on them keeps you motivated.
